six-klicks-east: Did you watch the thing on SBS2 just before about Heron of Alexandria? It was fascinating.  He invented all these automated machines out of pulleys, weights and steam. I did! I got so caught up trying to make a point about his automatic doors, I punched myself in the eye.  THAT STILL SMARTS, PAST!ME.
